Maybe I’m a noob still, I haven’t reached endgame with barbarian on the PS5 yet, so maybe this is already possible and I’m unaware?įor the sake of argument I never mentioned seasonal. This could also be left up to the player, where a primary weapon is chosen, that means, you choose what weapon WW should strike with upon activating the skill. This could introduce an additional layer of complexity and strategy to the Barbarian class, enhancing the depth of gameplay. One of the things I’d like to propose is making dual-wielding the primary weapon for Whirlwind, with each weapon hitting individually and having their own chances for a lucky hit. For instance, it would make on-hit abilities more impactful and allow for complex chain reactions. I don’t see much on here in regard to this so, here goes nothing.Įach weapon should(?) strike independently during Whirlwind (if you are dual-wielding), which would allow for interesting gameplay dynamics. I hope I’m not beating a dead horse here. Each individual weapon striking an opponent would make WW so much more fun, in my opinion. It would have brought great on-hit mechanics (lucky hit) builds in the future. In Diablo IV, it seems that this was changed and it’s a real shame. In previous Diablo games, the Barbarian’s Whirlwind ability did take into account both weapons when dual-wielding, and each weapon would strike independently of the other. Hi, this is more of a question more so than a suggestion but I guess any feedback is better than no feedback.
